Badgley Mischka S/S 08

49 Pieces.
Perfect AquaBlue and Green Dresses' gradation.
Freshy, Windy, Fluid, Flowing, and so Pretty pieces.
"For Spring, they reinvented a drop-waist flapper dress in blush tulle and satin. In a more indirect reference to their inspiration, the designers studded the front of a plunge-back maillot and a halter-neck, sleeveless dress with crystals in a geometric, Art Deco style." Style.com

Alexander Wang S/S 08

Casual, Manish touch but cool and feminine.
Those contradictions makes this collection

Abaete S/S 08

Urban determinate sophisticated
Not a fan, just reminds me...Michael Kors

Betsey Johnson S/S 08

Looks like a...kinda Barbie & Ken Prom night concept, doesn't it ?
Very Candy pop colors, Marshmallow and bubble gum effets.
Pretty sweet funky funny tasty collection with a cheapy touch.
I personally prefer last year's S/S : bubbleness and much more basic..

" Held on the sixth anniversary of 9/11, it closed with looks representing the mood of the country today.
There was a red-white-and-blue "Miss America" dress, and flowered headbands with paper flags stuck in them.
For a surprise finale, four models came out and took off their shirts. Each had a letter on her back,
together spelling out V-O-T-E. "

So Lauren

It is all about Laurend Conrad, hero from Laguna Beach and The hills (on MTV).
She finally launched her own clothing line : http://laurenconrad.seenon.com
Her collection just looks like things she wears in the show, that she could wear everyday, and that is the persuasive point, a great selling argument for people who "wanna be" LC.
Yes , Good for her to own her collection, good for fans to look like her!

Some info about LC ?
Born and raised in Laguna Beach, California, Lauren is the eldest of three children.

For Lauren LAGUNA BEACH: THE REAL O.C. has opened doors to a new world. “I chose to do the show because Entertainment and Fashion are so closely related. I wanted to get a taste of a different side of my world and I loved just trying a new experience. MTV was so great about spending time with all of us so closely that we all became one big family. I’m definitely glad that I did it and it’s cool that people seem to understand and like who I am.” And what is Lauren’s advice for teenagers entering the High School Experience? “Just enjoy High School and stay close to your friends. And whatever happens make sure that you keep some sort of record so that you can remember those good times.” For Lauren, those good times (and bad) are on record for the whole world to see. Roberto Cavalli for H&M

High street-designer mania is not settling by any stretch of imagination; while the Josh Goot hysteria at Target yesterday was mildly busy, Swedish chain store H&M today declares the rumours of an H&M cooperation with Roberto Cavalli.“Fancy yourself as a Cavalli babe next winter – for next to nothing? The Italian designer most famous for dressing Gwyneth, Madonna, Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez is next up to design a one-off collection for H&M – following sell-out-in-seconds collections from Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney and Viktor & Rolf. "Roberto Cavalli has created a world of his own, iconic and full of fantasy, when it comes to colours, prints, and style," says H&M creative director, Margareta van der Bosch. "There is no place for shyness and no possibility of ending up with a mainstream wardrobe of everyday basics. The Roberto Cavalli collections represent an exuberant, successful lifestyle."
